We’ve built a patron history view in Lending. Click the avatar on any patron from your patrons list and you’ll land on their history page – a single, organized view of everything they’ve ever borrowed, or had on hold.
Three tabs, zero clutter. History is split into three focused panels you can switch between without reloading the page:
- Checkout History – Current checkouts at the top (with past-due items clearly flagged in red), and the full past-checkout history below. Items returned after their due date are marked as late returns, so you can spot patterns quickly.
- Hold History – Active holds first, then everything they’ve ever requested. Released holds show the date they came off the list.
- Stats – Two clean line charts showing checkout and hold activity over time. Toggle between the last week, last month, or the past year with a single click.
Got a patron who’s been with you for years and has hundreds of checkouts? No problem. Past checkouts and past holds now load in batches with a “Load More” button, so the page stays fast no matter how active the patron is.
Deleted items don’t disappear. If you’ve removed an item from your collection that a patron once checked out, it still appears – marked as deleted – so you keep the record without a broken history.
